Sharon Kathleen Kirch, age 70, passed away on Wednesday, May 13, 2009 at Sauk Prairie Memorial Hospital. She was born in Prairie du Sac on January 18, 1939, the daughter of the late Leigh and Katherine (Griffith) Wilson. She graduated from Prairie du Sac High School in 1957. Sharon drove school bus for Wisconsin Heights High School for many years and retired from W.F. Butler Plumbing in Madison in 2003. She was an active member of Midland United Methodist Church, and enjoyed crocheting, knitting, wedding and birthday cake decorating, and bowling in her younger years. She is survived by three children, Bud (Dawn Cimino) Kirch of Arena, Robin (Kent) Kurt of Dane and William "Billy" Kirch of Sauk City; 4 grandchildren, Joshua (Leighanne) Kirch, who is currently deployed in the U.S. Navy in the Middle East, Jerejy Kirch, Dana (Ryan Martinez) Kirch and Tabitha Kirch; 6 great-grandchildren; 8 siblings, Leigh Wilson, Gloria Frayer, Jan (Sonny) Huebsch, Richard (Lynn) Wilson, Tom Wilson, Dan Wilson, Donna Wilson, Scott (Julie) Wilson; a special aunt, Flora (Bob) Pings; brother-in-law, Wally Griffin; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Beatrice Griffin; 2 sisters-in-law, Martha and Ellen Wilson; and 3 grandchildren, James, Jeremiah and Megan. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sat., May 16, 2009 at MIDLAND UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, Highway KP, Mazomanie, with Pastor Dianne Vielhuber officiating. Friends may call after 2:00 p.m. at the church.
