Obituary
Sharon M. Steinke, age 71, passed away at Unity point Health-Meriter
Hospital on Friday, June 17, 2022. She was born in Belvidere, IL on
June 18, 1950 to Ernest and Catherine (Johnson) Cline. Sharon attended
Rockford School of Medicine, earning her Licensed Practical Nursing
degree. Sharon was united in marriage to Larry Steinke on June 26,
1971 at St. James Catholic Church in Belvidere, IL. She was devoted
to her family and raising her five grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Larry; two children Heather (Shawn)
Barbagallo and Ashley (Alex) Courts; five grandchildren Brayden and
Colton Courts; Enzo, Evalina, and Elliana Barbagallo; mother Catherine
Cline; siblings Dave (Sally) Cline, Dale (Nadine), Mary Stark, and
Barb (Ray) McCoy.
She was preceded in death by her father Ernest Cline and sister Vickie Schultz.
A visitation will be held Thursday, June 23, 2022 from 4:00 pm until
6:00 pm at Hooverson Funeral Home, 251 Water Street, Sauk City, WI
53583.
A visitation/funeral Service to follow on Friday, June 24,
2022 at Highland Garden of Memories, 9800 IL-76, Belvidere, IL 61008
from 10:00 am to 11:00 am with a prayer service and the burial to
follow.
