Sheila Kostroski

Hello, this is my biopic.

My name is Sheila Kostroski. I was born on 18th February 1936. My parents were Bob and Katie Shannon. I had five brothers (Jim, Bill, Keith, Tom and Jerry), two sisters (Pat and Janet). I am the last member of my family. I grew up in Jefferson, WI where I went to high school and started dating the love of my life Ron Kostroski in 1952. We were married on the 6th of August in 1955. We had two children Peggy Kostroski and Randy Kostroski (Sue) between 1955 and 1957. Ron entered the army in 1957 and when stationed in Louisiana we had our third child Lori (Tim) Henke. In 1959 Ron was discharged and in Jan 1960 we took up residence in Prairie du Sac.

In the ensuing years we parented four more children Linda (Scott) Enge, Susan (Rich) Ballweg, Karen (Keith) Yanke and Lee Kostroski (Dawn). My children produced 18 grandchildren, 9 boys and 9 girls. I doted on them and spent many hours attending events in which they performed. I now have 15 great grandchildren and regret not being able to spend time with them.

There will be a celebration of my life on Sunday, June 30th from 1:00 to 4:00pm at Marion Park in Prairie du Sac.
