Shirley Arlene Soelle, age 76, passed away on Thursday May 8, 2008 at Maplewood Nursing Home in Sauk City after a long struggle with Multiple Sclerosis. She was born to the late George and Mary (Towers) Heath on April 20, 1932. Shirley was married to Robert H. Soelle, together they had 5 children. She worked at Badger Army Ammunition for many years and retired from Graber Industries in Middleton. Shirley enjoyed bird watching, camping and fishing with her children and spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by three children, Marvin (Mendy) Soelle of Weyerhauser, Allan (Tina) Soelle and Robin (Ted) Henn, both of Prairie du Sac; five grandchildren, Tiffani (Chris) Duncan, Amanda Soelle, Andy and Travis Henn, and Jonathan Soelle; four great-grandchildren; a brother Goerge (Dorothy) Heath; and 4 special dogs, Polly, Zues, Anna and Tika. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son Robert D. Soelle; daughter Gail Siedschlag; grandson Jeremy Soelle; and a sister Betty Hutter. A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, May 19, 2008 at HOOVERSON FUNERAL HOME, Sauk City with Pastor Jeff Virchow officiating. Friends may call from 4pm until time of service. Burial will be held on Tuesday, May 19, 2008 at 10 am in the Prairie du Sac Cemetery. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all the people at Maplewood Nursing Home who helped care for Shirley through out the years.
