Obituary
Simon Dischler, age 94, passed away on December 29, 2017 at St Clare Hospital, Baraboo. He was born on May 25, 1923 the son of the late Joseph and Mary (Laubmeier) Dischler. He was united in marriage to Mary Jane Pulvermacher on June 22, 1950 at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Sauk City.
Simon was a US Veteran having served in the Army. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing cards,dancing, horseshoes, woodworking, 4-H, and his time spent on the farm. He was an all around good natured guy.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Jane;
his 4 children, Lucille (Ted) Danube, Keith (Jane), Beverly Simonds, Pamela Dischler;
4 grandchildren, Michelle (Brett), Cinnamon (Matthew), Shana (Billy), and Tim;
2 great grandchildren, Twins, Aksel and Amelia;
1 sister, Clara Ruegsegger.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Sandra, son in law, Donald Simonds and 10 siblings.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 am on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Sauk City, WI. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. A visitation will be held on Wednesday from 9:00 am until 11:15 am at Hooverson Funeral Home, Sauk City, WI
