Obituary

Stanley "Stan" E. Wallace, aged 67, died on Monday, October 19, 2009 at Sauk Prairie Memorial Hospital. He was born in Mazomanie on September 23, 1942, the son of the late Robert and Hazel (Meigs) Wallace. Stan was a U.S. Veteran, having served during the Vietnam Era. He was united in marriage to Patricia Horrall on August 14, 1967 in Evansville, IN. Stan was employed by National Cash Register for thirty years. He was a member of the Mazomanie Fire Department and Greening-Buelow American Legion Post 437 in Mazomanie. He is survived by his wife, Patty of Mazomanie; two daughters, Jennifer (Steve) Landenburg of Hollendale and Michelle (Tim) Frank of Casper, WY; a granddaughter, Megan Frank; three brothers, Charles (Helen) Wallace of Junction City, OR, Don (Verna) Wallace of Mazomanie and Robert (Robin) Wallace of Fitchburg; a sister-in-law, Julina Wallace of Mazomanie; other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Rodney Wallace. Funeral services will be held at MIDLAND UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, 10235 CTH KP, Mazomanie, at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 24, 2009 with Pastor Dianne Vielhuber officiating. Burial will be in the Mazomanie Cemetery. Friends may call at the church from 4:00pm until 7:00pm on Friday, October 23, 2009.
