Obituary
Stanwood Dale Ascher, age 77, passed away at his home on Lake Wisconsin on Monday, July 20, 2015. He was born in Mt. Carrol Illinois on August 8, 1937 to the late Walter and Neva (Hartman) Ascher. Stanwood graduated from Freeport Senior High, class of 1955. He obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and worked for the computer company, Data Control in Minneapolis, Mn. Upon his retirement, he moved to the Prairie du Sac-Lake Wisconsin area to help take care of his mother until her death on August 22, 2013. He was proud to have served in the United States Air Force.
Stanwood is survived by a cousin, Sharon (Larry) Nelson of Fredricksburg, TX; and their two children, Marc (Angel) Heitter of Melissa, TX., and Michelle Heitter of McKinney, TX.
As per Stanwood's wishes, a private family ceremony will be held.
