Obituary
Stephen Wayne Harper, age 72, formerly of Prairie du Sac passed away unexpectedly in Weslaco, TX on Friday, June 15, 2012. He was born November 18, 1939 to the late George and Hattie (Haugarth) Harper. He married Sadie R. Edwards, June 8, 1963, she preceded him in death on January 14, 1994. Stephen worked at Consumers Co-op for many years and later at Springs Window Fashions (formerly Grabers) until he retired. He enjoyed long road trips and spending time in Texas and Mexico.
He is survived by 3 children, Scott (Ygenia), Prairie du Sac; Sandra Harper, Baraboo; and Stacy Harper, Portage; 4 grand children, and further survived by many other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents and wife he was preceded in death by 2 brothers Roger and George "Wendell" Harper.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
