IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Steve "Rhino"
L. Rinabarger
October 18, 1956 – March 3, 2020
Steve Lee "Rhino" Rinabarger, age 63, passed away at his home Mar. 3, 2020. He was born in Iowa on Oct. 18, 1956 to the late Orris and Bessie (Warne) Rinabarger. Rhino graduated from Dodgeville High School; class of 1974. He worked in facility maintenance for many years at Janlin Plastics in Mt. Horeb and later at Graber's and Spring's in Middleton. Rhino enjoyed hunting, lifting weights, motocross and ice racing in his earlier years, and looked forward to spending quality time with his Mom.
His largest passion in life was Harley-Davidson Motorcycles. His love of motorcycles morphed into buying and selling parts and doing service work for friends out of his home. Rhino had a "can fix" anything attitude and was always willing to lend someone the shirt off his back, even if it was sleeveless. Steve had a very lively imagination and he enjoyed being an attraction for others at many motorcycle related events. He was known and recognized by many for his Mad Max and Rat Bike styles. Rhino would often be found surrounded by a group of people marveling at his unique motorcycle or the interesting outfit he was wearing. He would often take his son, Ryan with him on his many motorcycle adventures. Rhino was a member of the Sauk Prairie H.O.G. Chapter and had previously served as Road Captain, Activities Director and always helped coordinate the slow ride and other bike games at the local Freedom Ride to benefit MDA. Rhino lived his life like he preferred his motorcycles, loud and fast. Steve will be missed by many.
Rhino is survived by his son, Ryan; brothers, Rex (Cheryl) and William (Patricia) Rinabarger; he is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and countless friends.
In addition to his parents, Rhino was preceded by his brother, Joseph.
A Celebration of Rhino's life will be held in conjunction with the Slimey Crud Run, May 3, 2020 at the Red Mouse in Pine Bluff and The Schelter in Leland.
