Obituary

Sue Ann Hoege, age 56, passed away 11/19/2024 at her residence. She was born 12/20/1967, the daughter of the late William & Elaine (Anderson) Dunse.  Sue attended Sauk Prairie Schools and graduated in 1986.

She was united in marriage to Randy Hoege in 1988, and they lived at their home in Witwen where they raised their two boys Taylor and Brandon.

Sue led a life helping others, working at Maplewood nursing home for 12 years before taking a job with Sauk Prairie Healthcare. While there, she provided care for members of the community for the last 30 years, while still working part-time at Maplewood village and Lodi nursing home until recently.

Sue enjoyed spending time with family and spoiling her cats and grandpuppies.

She enjoyed being part of the Baraboo Bluffs UTV Club, taking rides and weekend trips with all the wonderful members. She was also a proud member and team leader of The Wisconsin River Sportsman's Club, spending time with them shooting trap and bartending.  She considered the club members to be a second family.

Survived by her loving husband, Randy, sons, Taylor (Cristeta German) Hoege and Brandon (Amber Johnson) Hoege.

Also survived by her siblings, Ellen (Reid) Patterson, Sheri Dunse, Mike (Maria) Dunse and Lori (Aaron Christensen) Dunse-Teasdale; her sister-in-law, Kathryn O'Brien Hoege; father and mother-in-law, James & Jackie Hoege, and many loved nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her parents, William and Elaine (Anderson) Dunse and brother-in-law, Ronald Hoege.

Visitation will be held at Blackhawk Bethlehem Church, Black Hawk, from 4-7pm on Monday, November 25, 2024.

Memorial Service will be held at the church Tuesday, November 26 at 11am with lunch to follow.  Anyone wanting to pay respects early may arrive at the church starting at 10am.
