Teres Maria Parker, age 87, of Mission Viejo, CA was born July 16, 1922 in Apatin, Yugoslavia and passed away September 12, 2009. She is survived by her husband, John C. Parker of Mission Viejo, formerly of Watertown, WI; daughters Julianna (Steve) Sheldrake of Lehi, UT; Sandra (Tim) McAndrews of Rancho Santa Margarita, CA; 5 grandchildren and two great-granddaughters. Teres and John were married 45 years. She retired from TRW Semiconductors as a Quality Control Inspector after 23 years of service. Teres was a survivor of the Holocaust, having survived in the Ohrdruf Labor Camp in Leipzig, Germany. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting and gardening. Her green thumb, true to her maiden name Kertesz (gardener) produced a beautiful garden of lilies and roses. Her lovely smile, her laughter and antics with her grandchildren will be missed by her family and friends, but we are at peace knowing she walks among the gardens of Heaven. Memorial Service will be held in Laguna Hills, CA. A graveside service and burial will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, September 23, 2009 at Oak Hill Cemetery in Black Earth.
