Teresa L. Hartmann, age 61, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, February 19, 2018, surrounded by her loving family, following a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on March 20, 1956 to Charles and Virginia (Marx) Bongard. She was united in marriage to her husband, David Hartmann, on September 13, 1980 at St. Aloysius Catholic Church. They were married for 37 wonderful years and raised 3 beautiful children Michele, Stacie and John.

Terry was employed by Cuna Mutual for 38 years. She had a strong faith and desire to serve. She enjoyed her time spent at weekly Eucharistic Adoration. She enjoyed many different hobbies and loved spending time with family and friends.

She is survived by her husband David; their 3 children, Michele (Justin) Spaeth, Stacie (Justin) Fuchs, John Hartmann; her grandson Joseph Spaeth; her mother Virginia Bongard;

her siblings, Joan (Dennis) Breunig, Chuck (Marilyn) Bongard, Diane (Mark) Ganser, Kathy (Dan) Lovell, Lisa (Tim) Evert, James (Sandi) Bongard; sisters-in-law, Lora Hartmann, Kathy (Tom) Breunig, Roberta (Kevin) Lemanski and brother-in-law, Tom (Barb) Hartmann.

She is further survived by many relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father Charles Bongard; her father and mother-in-law Clifford and Dona Hartmann.

Terry's family would like to thank the many medical professionals who have helped Terry throughout the years.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 am on Friday, February 23, 2018 at St. Aloysius Catholic Church. Burial will follow at St. Aloysius Cemetery. A visitation will be held at Hooverson Funeral Home, Sauk City on Thursday, February 22, 2018 from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations will be accepted and all proceeds will be donated to a cause that was important to Terry.
