Being the most gentle, kind, unselfish man that he was every single moment of his life, Theodore Vincent Reindl ("Ted," "T.O.F," "Bumpa," "Daddy-O") waited until he knew everyone in his family would be OK and that everyone was focused on something other than him, and he peacefully slipped away from this world on Tuesday, February 9, 2010. Ted was born on January 11, 1927, in Wisconsin, to Frank and Mary Olive Reindl, the 5th child of twelve children. He married Janice Marie Russell on May 23, 1964. He attended St. James and Edgewood High School. He was a U.S. Army veteran. Ted worked as an auto body mechanic for 40 years. Ted's family was his life, and he loved and adored every one of them.
He is survived by his wife, Janice; four daughters, Lisa Zander (Brian Parrell), Angie Reindl (Betsy Giles), Mary Reindl-Frey (Patrick), and Missy Danz (Tony); 10 grandchildren: Emily and Danielle Zander; Cory Mellum; Connor, Lucas and Owen Danz; Sam, Kate and MacKenzie Parrell; Cassie Frey; and was anxiously awaiting the birth of his eleventh grandchild, Emmett Bernard Reindl; 7 siblings, Sister Olivia, Francis "Bud", Marguerite Jones, Jerry (Marge), John (Nancy), Mary (Larry) Hausner, Dave (Cele); brother-in-law, Leo (Elaine) Russell; other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Paul and Don; and two sisters: Betsy Hepp and Inez Vandeveld.
A Mass in Celebration of Life, will be held at ST. BARNABAS CATHOLIC CHURCH, Mazomanie, at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 13, 2010 with Fr. John DelPriore officiating. Burial will be in St. Barnabas Cemetery. Friends may call at HOOVERSON FUNERAL HOME, 702 Emily Rd., Mazomanie, from 4:00-7:00pm on Friday, February 12, 2010, with the KC Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Friends may also call at the funeral home on Saturday morning from 9:00-9:45am.
