Thomas R. Murphy, age 50, died unexpectedly on Monday, March 8, 2010. He was born in Prairie du Sac on August 17, 1959, the son of Robert and Elizabeth "Betty" (Bollig) Murphy. He graduated from Wisconsin Heights High School in 1977. Tom was a good-hearted person who loved animals, and was always there when help was needed.

He is survived by his mother, Elizabeth "Betty" Murphy; two daughters, Cassandra and Chelsea; an aunt, Charlotte Bollig; an uncle, Linus Bollig; cousins, Mary (Bill) Bowman and Dylan Bowman; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father and grandparents

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. BARNABAS CATHOLIC CHURCH, Mazomanie, at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 13, 2010 with Fr. John DelPriore officiating. Burial will be in St. Barnabas Cemetery. Friends may call at HOOVERSON FUNERAL HOME, Mazomanie, from 4:00-7:00pm on Friday, March 12, 2010, and also on Saturday morning from 9:30-10:15am.
