Thomas L. Zimmerman, age 80, of Sauk City passed away peacefully at St. Clare Hospice House in Baraboo on Tuesday, Mar. 12, 2024.  He was born Nov. 8, 1943 to the late Armin and Edith Zimmerman.  He was united in marriage to Audrey Kreger on July 18, 1964 at Peace Lutheran Church in Sun Prairie; she preceded him in death on June 1, 2023.  He worked road construction and was also a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers.  Tom enjoyed farming and working outdoors.

Tom is survived by his; children, Craig (Diane) Zimmerman and their children, David and Crystal; Tami (Scott) Jacobsen and their children, Garrett and Alexandria (Parker); Tina (David) Traut and their children, Tori, Tanner and Tara; siblings, Maureen Patterson, Patti Nelson (Jim), Terry Zimmerman, Tim (Barb) Zimmerman.  He is further survived by many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents and his wife, he was preceded by an infant son, Todd.

A Funeral Service for Tom will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, Mar. 16, at the Hooverson Funeral Home, 251 Water St., Sauk City.  A visitation will be held from 10:00 am until the time of service.  Interment will be held in the St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Dane Twnshp.
