Obituary

On-Sunday, 10/13/2024, Timothy J. Campbell, loving son, brother and uncle, passed away unexpectedly at age 65. We lost him sooner than any of us would like; but are grateful for the years we had with him.

Tim was born in Sauk City on July 7, 1959, to Edward (Bud) and Bernice (Bernie) Campbell.  Tim spent his childhood in a small neighborhood about 2 miles outside of Sauk City; growing up and playing with his siblings and the neighborhood kids.  At age 24, Tim, experienced a tragic, life altering accident and most of his adult life was spent living at home with his parents and oldest brother, Jeff, and at various well-caring CBRF group homes.

Tim is survived by his mother, Bernie Campbell of Sauk City: brother, Jeff of Sauk City, sister, Lisbeth Gibney (Daniel) of Mount Horeb, nieces Jessica Wood (Jordan Marshall) and Danielle Ibinger (Teddy) brother-in-law, Les Dorscheid. of Waunakee, nephews Kyle and Andrew (Kristin) Dorscheid and great nephew Sam Dorscheid.  He was preceded in death by his father, Bud (2008); brother Ken (1990) and sister Susan Dorscheid (2023).

Tim had a love for the outdoors and spent much time walking and hiking.  He was not one to sit much.  He enjoyed riding his electric bike on River Road, fishing, playing cribbage, playing pool, reading car magazines, watching car and western TV programs and occasionally going to car shows.  He exercised every day because he had to stay slim and be healthy, liked to dress well and wear hats.  He had a very strong sense of family and talked with his mother, family, and close friends every day, sometime several times a day. He especially liked visiting home and family gatherings.

Family and friends are all welcome to a Celebration of Life which will be held from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, 11/23/2024 at VFW Post 7694-Lachmund Cramer, 700 VFW Drive, Prairie du Sac, WI.  A Remembrance Program will start about 2:30 p.m.

In lieu of flowers or plants, please come and participate in celebrating his life and sharing the joy he brought to everyone.
