Timothy R. Voss, age 60, passed away unexpectedly on October 30, 2025, after a short but courageous battle with cancer. Tim was a beloved husband, son, brother, and friend. He touched the lives of many with his generous heart, his quick wit, and the steady strength he carried throughout his life.

He was born on June 17, 1965, in Madison, Wisconsin the son of Laverne and Judith Voss. Tim grew up learning the value of hard work, laughter, and craftsmanship. After graduating high school, he attended UW–Whitewater, where he met the love of his life, Jodeen. Their 37-year marriage and partnership was one of deep love, loyalty, shared humor, and true companionship. Together they built a house and life in Mazomanie, Wisconsin, where they have lived for the past 32 years.

Tim's career in food sales, marketing and management with The CORE Group was marked by dedication, strong relationships, and his natural ease with people. He had the gift of gab — the kind of warm, lively personality that could spark a conversation anywhere. As many fondly said, he could sell ice to an Eskimo, and he did it with sincerity, humor, and genuine connection.

He loved his shop, the place where his creativity and craftsmanship came alive. A talented artist and builder across many mediums, he learned these skills from his father and carried them proudly throughout his life. Whether working on a project, repairing something for someone he cared about, or simply tinkering for the joy of it, his shop was his sanctuary. He also found joy in the outdoors, traveling, and relaxing at home with Jodeen and his beloved Labrador, Titan, loyally by his side.

Tim was known for his huge heart, quick smile, and love of a good joke. He made people feel welcome, understood, and valued. His presence brought comfort and laughter, and his absence leaves a quiet, aching space.

Tim is survived by his devoted wife, Jodeen; his mother, Judith Voss; his sister, Karin (David) Ross; his brother, Erik Voss, his father and mother in-law Walter and JoAnn Fust, and his sister in-laws Cammie (Jim) Maloney and Rebecca Calverley. He also leaves behind nieces and nephews, uncles and aunts, cousins, and many friends who will forever hold his memory close. He is preceded in death by his father, Laverne Voss.

Though our hearts are heavy, we are grateful for the love he gave, the joy he shared, and the craftsmanship and creativity he leaves behind. His spirit lives on in every story told, every piece he created, and every memory that brings us to smile.

A celebration of Tim's life will be held in the summer of 2026.
