Obituary

Tina L. Udelhofen, Sauk City, died, Tuesday, January 12, at home with her family after a hard fought battle with lung cancer. Tina was born July 24, 1961 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa; the daughter of William and Jeannine (Clough) Gerlach. She grew up in Benton, Wisconsin and graduated from Benton High School in 1979. She married Steve Udelhofen on June 19, 1981. They lived in Platteville, WI until 1983, at which time they moved to Newton, Iowa. In 1997 Tina and her family moved back to Wisconsin and made their home in Sauk City. Tina was the proud mother of three sons and 2 grandchildren and was employed with TDS Telecom Corporation in Madison.



Tina is survived by her husband of 28 years, Steve Udelhofen.

Three son's: Justin (Lindsey) Udelhofen of Sauk City, Steven (Emily) Udelhofen of Madison and Shannon Udelhofen of Sauk City.

Two grandchildren: Austin & Dylan Udelhofen of Sauk City.

Tina is also survived by six sisters: Diane (Edwin) Ernst, Gratiot, WI; Linda (Ron) Regich, Monticello, IN; Sherry Trickel, Madison, WI; Tammy (Bruce) Danz, Platteville, WI; Mary Gerlach, Dubuque, IA; Ronda (Brian) Jasper, Bernard, IA and three brothers: William (Angela) Gerlach, Brooklyn, WI; Sylvan (Dana) Gerlach, Madison, WI; and Ronald Gerlach, Dubuque, IA and nieces and nephews too numerous to count. Tina was preceded in death by her parents.



Friends may call at St. John's Lutheran Church, Saturday, January 16, from 10am until a celebration of Tina's life that will be held at 11am, with Pastor Sally Mitchell officiating. A committal service in the church's memorial garden will follow. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund is being established.
