Valerie Susan Adams, age 50 passed away Saturday, April 12, 2008 at her home in rural Prairie du Sac. She was born in Blytheville, AK. on January 31, 1958, the daughter of Larry and Patricia ( Lauer) Wickliffe. She was raised in the Ft. Wayne area moving to Wisconsin in 1999. She loved the outdoors and enjoyed a vegetarian lifestyle. She was proud of 18 years of sobriety and she gave her heart to the Lord and became a Sabbath (Saturday) keeper in 1999. Valerie was a member of the 7th. Day Adventist church in Oxford, WI. and was annointed by Pastor/Elder Wendel Springer on April 10, 2008. She wished to share her favorite Bible verses which are Hebrews, chap. 11 and Jeremiah, chap. 29, vs. 11. She is survived by her husband, Randy Salter of Prairie du Sac; two sons, Shane Adams of Hudson, IN and Bryan (Christina) Adams of Ft. Wayne, IN; two step-sons, Jeremiah Salter of Deerfield and Aaron Salter of Fort Atkinson; a step-daughter, Chastity Salter of Lakeland, FL; 9 grandchildren; her father, Larry (Sherry) Wickliffe of Harlan, IN; two brothers, Billy Welz of Ft. Wayne, IN. and
Larry Michael Wickliffe of Harlan, IN.; two sister, Christine McCormick of Attleborough, MA. and
Lisa (Johnny) Zachery of Harlan, IN.;step-parents,Ed and Jodi Welz of Lakeland, FL.; her mother-in-law, Rozella Salter of Edmore, MI.;
sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Robin and Jim Lathrop of E.G.R., MI, Jim Salter of Muskegon, MI,Jane Neiman of San Antonio, TX, Patrick Salter of Oshkosh, WI, Rebecca and Dave Rowley of Edmore, MI, Shirley Smith of Saginaw, MI, Carrie and Brian Welsh of Midland, MI; and
many nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, April 20, 2008 at 1:00 PM at the Angola, IN. Seventh Day Adventist Church.
