Vera Elizabeth Postawa, age 92, died on Monday, April 7, 2008 at Heartland Country Village in Black Earth after a short illness. She was born on February 4, 1916 to Matt and Hattie (Christianson) Lentz. She married Stanley Joseph Postawa in 1941. She is survived by 5 children, Stanley John (Pat) of Prairie du Sac: Jon (Xina) of Tacoma, WA; Joseph, Vera and Katherine , all of Middleton; daughter-in-law, Christine of Colorado; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Frank, brothers Frank and Charlie Lentz, and sisters Marion Hanneman, Helen Chitek and Jeanette Signorile.Funeral services will be held at Hooverson Funeral Home, Sauk City, at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 11, 2008 with Rev. Mark Detter officiating. Burial will be in St. Aloysius Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service.
