Vincent F. Ballweg passed away unexpectedly on August 24th, 2021.  He was born on March 31, 1940 to the late Florian and Emma (Breunig) Ballweg, the youngest of eight children. Vince was united in marriage to Janet (Breunig) on May 9th, 1964.

Vince served in the US Army and was stationed in Korea. He had the opportunity to go to Washington D.C. on the Badger Honor Flight in 2017, with his son Kurt.  Vince loved putting together puzzles, fishing, playing cards, golfing and watching Wisconsin sports.  Family was a big part of his life, he enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren, especially attending their events.

Vince is survived by his wife, Janet, of 57 years; his children, Kurt (Vicki), Karen (Trevor) Frosch, Dale (Jody) and Nick (Jackie); grandchildren, Kaden Ballweg, Jacob and Brent Frosch, Jayden and McKayla Ballweg, and Dominic and Emma Ballweg.

He is further survived by his sister, Evelyn Acker; his in-laws, Lois Ballweg, Fran Beuthin, Ann and Jack Haselwander, Tom and Donna Breunig, Phyllis Breunig, Jack and Bev Breunig, and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, four sisters and many in-laws.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, August 30, 2021 at 11:30 AM at Saint Aloysius Catholic Church, Sauk City.  A visitation will be held at Hooverson Funeral Home, Sauk City from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM on Monday, August 30, 2021.  A private burial will take place in the church cemetery with Military Honors Accorded by the Lachmund-Cramer VFW Post 7694.

In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the family.
