Walter 'Butch' Dickerson, age 74, passed away at UW Hospital on Sunday, June 5, 2022, from injuries sustained in a fall.

During his lifetime, Butch worked mostly in carpentry and construction.  He enjoyed fishing on Lake Erie and hunting trips out West and Canada.  He liked to play euchre and enjoyed his monthly poker parties.  Butch liked to visit with friends and relatives and was always there with a helping hand.

Butch is survived by his sister, Peggy (Tom) Alt, brothers, David (Jo Lilley) Dickerson and Gary (Lori) Dickerson and nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Gaige and Zona (Leykauf) Dickerson, sisters, Mary Jane Krueger, Carol Ann Dickerson and a brother, Tony Dickerson.

A visitation will be held on Monday, June 13, 2022, at Hooverson Funeral Home, Sauk City, from 4pm until 7pm.  A private burial will be held at a later date.
