Wanda Kohlman, age 68, of Prairie du Sac, passed away on July 26th after a lengthy battle with cancer.  She was born in Prairie du Sac on November 13th, 1956 to Duane and Marvelene (Grass) Osgood.

Wanda had fond memories of growing up on the family farm, helping with both farm chores and the cooking and cleaning. She attended Tower Rock grade school, and was a proud member of the Up and Ready 4-H club. She won several awards showing her cow, Madge, and numerous ribbons for cooking and crafts. Wanda went to Sauk Prairie High School, where she played basketball, and was on the track team, she graduated with the class of 1975.

She was married to Mike Kohlman in 1980. They enjoyed hosting family and friends at their home; Wanda was the master party planner and hostess. She always had the exact serving piece needed. She loved holidays and the house was decorated from top to bottom.

Wanda had a green thumb, and enjoyed growing houseplants, and flowers all around the yard. She did seasonal work for Tesch's Flowerland, doing some landscape planting for WI Dells area attractions. Later she worked for Quartz Health Insurance for over 20 years, where she made many wonderful friends.

Wanda's greatest loves were her grandchildren. She loved to host sleepovers, and spoil them rotten. She found great joy and pride in attending all the games, plays, concerts, recitals, and school events.

Wanda was a kind and generous soul, truly one of a kind, and life will not be nearly the same without her.

Wanda is survived by her husband Mike; mother Marvelene Grauvogl of Prairie du Sac; daughter Janel (Dan) Endres of Prairie du Sac; Mikes's daughters, Michelle (Sean) O'Connor of Prairie du Sac; Kris Kohlman (Terry Leidig) of Prairie du Sac; and Kathleen (Jesse) Goodier of Lakewood Ranch FL., siblings Lori Hamilton of Las Vegas NV., Dave (Cyndie) Osgood of Montello; and Alan Osgood of Columbus; grandchildren, Michael, Lauren and Kate Endres, Alexa, Jordan, and Devin O'Connor, and Harrison Leidig, as well as many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Duane Osgood, and siblings Ken, Rita, and Russ Osgood.

A private burial will be held. An open house Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday. August 2nd at the Kohlman home E11099 Sauk Prairie Rd from 12:00 noon until 4:00 pm.
