Wayne J. Meyer, age 83, passed away on April 22, 2018 when his worn-out, much-used heart gave out after a lifetime of giving it to family, friends, dogs, hunting, fishing and the Green Bay Packers. He was born to Hilmar and Hilda (Kastel) Meyer on June 7, 1934.  He was married to Corneil (Connie) Frey for nearly 60 years.  Wayne was a Veteran having served in the United States Army.   He worked very hard in concrete construction for the large majority of his life.

He is survived by his wife, Connie, his daughters, Betty (Bill) Frey and Laurie Wagman, grandchildren Kasi (Rob) Peters, Will (Susie) Frey, Ronnie Wagman, Malorie Wagman, Tobi Tyner and great-grandchildren Lucas, Felicity, Clara, Sylvie, Britton, Karlie & Jaelynn, as well as cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a son Bob Brownrigg and his aunt, Eunice Meyer.

A memorial service will be held at 11:30 on Thursday, April 26, 2018 at Hooverson Funeral Home, Sauk City, WI. A visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
