Wayne David Mueller, age 71, passed away peacefully at this home in Lodi on Dec. 2, 2025. He was born April 27, 1954 to Marvin and Henriette (Thoma) Mueller. Wayne attended High School at Lake Side Lutheran in Lake Mills, graduating in 1972. He later enlisted in the United States Air Force, serving in Louisiana and Japan in the Medical Services.

Settling in Sauk Prairie, Wayne worked for Ballweg Chevrolet and later Symdon Motors in Mt. Horeb. He eventually started Pizza Plaza in downtown Sauk City. Wayne had an entrepreneur's spirit, always making the best of what he had, working hard, and would be the first to help anyone. He loved to tinker, fix, and restore anything that needed a little work. Wayne had a love of Coke products and his restaurant proudly displayed his Coke collection. He also collected Marvin the Martian of the Looney Tunes memorabilia.  Wayne enjoyed anything that would keep him busy outside; gardening, his flowers, mowing the lawn and tidying up around the house and neighborhood. He enjoyed time spent with his family, dear friends, and neighbors whom he also considered family.

He is survived by his son, Shane (Amy) and their children, Liam and Freya; daughters, Leann "Tiger" Gutwiler and her son, Alan; Jackie (Robert) Koser and their children, Lisa and Ken; Shawn (Mike) Mattson and their daughter, Katrina; the mother of his children, Sharon (nee Hurd) Mueller. He is further survived by other relatives and friends.

As per Wayne's wishes, no services will be held. Instead, remember him by planting a flower or helping out where you can.
