William Dale "Bill" Hering, passed away unexpectedly, at his home from cardiac arrest on Friday, September 30, 2016 at the age of 52 years old. He was born on April 28, 1964, the son of the late Harland and Irene (Voss) Hering.

Bill graduated from Wisconsin Heights High School in 1982. Bill went on to attend the University of Wisconsin where he earned his degree in Accounting and went to work for the State of Wisconsin for a period of time. Bill was a lifelong member of St. Paul church in Marxville, Wi. and proudly served on the Church council for many years. He enjoyed playing euchre and board games with family and friends and loved to go bowling. Bill was an avid fan of all Wisconsin sports teams especially the Green Bay Packers and loved tracking stormy weather.

Bill is survived by his brother, Robert (Krisanne) Hering; his three nephews, Matthew, Blake, and Nicholas Hering, and many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harland and Irene Hering-Ryan and step father Gerald Ryan.

Funeral services will be held at ST. PAULS LUTHERAN CHURCH, 8748 State Road 19, Mazomanie Wi. (Marxville) at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 5, 2016 Burial will take place in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held at at HOOVERSON FUNERAL HOMES , 251 Water Street, Sauk City Wi. from 4 – 7 p.m. on Tuesday October 4, 2016 and again at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Wednesday.
